Refund & Cancellation Policy
What a paid GalSol plan buys, when a refund is possible, and what happens when a plan ends.
This policy explains what happens to your money once you upgrade GalSol — what a plan buys, when a refund is possible, and what happens when a plan ends. Please read it before you pay. It applies to every paid plan bought through galsol.in.
1 What You Are Buying
A GalSol paid plan (Pro or Pro Max) is a one-time purchase of access for a fixed period — one month, three months, or twelve months, whichever you chose at checkout. Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
The plan is bought per account and applies to the work you own. Committee members and collaborators you invite work under your plan at no extra cost — there is no per-seat charge.
Access is granted immediately once payment is confirmed. From that moment the higher limits, the AI budget, and every Pro feature are available to you and to everyone you have invited.
2 No Auto-Renewal
GalSol does not set up any recurring payment, standing instruction, e-mandate or auto-debit. There is no subscription running in the background.
You are charged once, for the period you selected. When that period ends, your account simply returns to the Free plan. Nothing is charged again unless you choose to buy another plan yourself.
Because of this, there is no subscription to cancel and no card on file to remove. See section 6.
3 Refund Policy
Paid plans are non-refundable once the plan is active.
GalSol is a digital service that is delivered in full and immediately at the moment of payment. The moment your plan activates you receive the raised limits, the monthly AI budget, and the ability to publish Pro features — none of which can be returned or un-delivered once used.
This includes, but is not limited to, situations where:
- You changed your mind after buying, or your event was cancelled, postponed or did not go ahead.
- You bought the wrong tier or period — for example Pro Max instead of Pro, or yearly instead of monthly.
- You did not use the plan, or used less of it than you expected to.
- Your access ended because the plan period ran out, or because the account was suspended for breaching our Terms of Service.
We keep the Free plan genuinely usable — a full mini site, registration forms, QR entry passes, certificates and bulk email — precisely so you can try GalSol properly before you pay. Please use it first if you are unsure which plan you need.
4 When We Do Refund
Section 3 is about plans that worked as described. It is not a way to keep money we were never owed. We will refund you in full in these cases:
- Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same plan.
- Money debited, plan not activated: the amount left your account but the plan was never applied to it.
- Unauthorised payment: the payment was made from your account without your permission, confirmed with your bank or card issuer.
- Extended failure on our side: a prolonged outage or defect that we cannot resolve leaves the paid features substantially unusable for a significant part of your plan period.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once we initiate a refund it typically reaches your account within 5–7 working days, though the exact timing is set by your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
5 How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your GalSol account, within 7 days of the payment, and include:
-
Razorpay Payment ID — starts with
pay_, shown on your payment receipt. - Date and amount of the payment.
- What went wrong — which of the situations in section 4 applies.
We aim to respond within 3 working days. If a refund is approved we will initiate it immediately and confirm by email.
6 Cancellation
There is nothing to cancel. Because GalSol takes no recurring payment (section 2), a plan ends on its own when its period is up — you do not need to tell us, turn anything off, or remove a payment method.
If you decide part-way through that you no longer want the plan, you can simply not buy another one. The current plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for; it is not shortened, and no part of it is refunded.
You may delete your GalSol account at any time from Settings. Deleting the account does not refund an active plan.
7 When a Plan Ends
Nothing you made is deleted. Your account returns to the Free plan limits, and your work stays in your account:
- Events and projects become read-only. Committee lists, budgets, run sheets and site files stay readable and exportable — you just cannot edit them until you renew.
- Sites and forms using Pro-only design stop being served to visitors. Removing the Pro feature and publishing again brings them straight back on the Free plan.
- Anything over the Free limits is kept, not deleted. If you have more sites, forms or events than the Free plan allows, they all remain — you simply cannot create new ones until you are back within the limit or you renew.
Buying a new plan restores full access immediately. Deletion of your data only ever happens when you delete it.
8 Pricing Changes
We may change our prices, plans or the limits attached to them at any time. Any change applies only to purchases made after it takes effect — a plan you have already paid for keeps the price, period and limits it was sold with, for the whole of that period.
All prices on galsol.in are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless stated otherwise beside the price, are inclusive of applicable taxes.
